Mascara Review: In2it Lash Xtra Mascara

I love Fiber Mascaras!

I think they are heaven sent to those that got short, sparse, hard-to-curl lashes like mine... as what most would describe it...'asian lashes'. That's why i love asian brands for they really address the needs of asian women. That's why Fiberwig + Majolica Majorca Lash Enamel is L-O-V-E!

As what i said before, i love Fiberwig... it is my HG mascara... but it's almost December 28, on which i would have to ditch it. It's already my 2nd tube & i don't really know if i'm going to buy it at Cosme-de.com again (which would take forever in shipping & i might be charge a big amount in PO again) or buy it locally (which is waaaaaayyyyyyyyy overpriced!) or just look for an alternative. Naturally the last choice would be the best since i am always on the look out for cheap products that work as good as expensive products.

I only knew 3 brands here that have cheap fiber mascaras, which would be In2it, James Cooper & Elianto. I first went to Elianto but the SA said that it's already sold out, went to James Cooper & for some reason, fibers as primer doesn't hold that much of an appeal to me so i purchased the In2it one since it's the only option left.hehe

I have been using this for a couple of weeks now so i guess i can write a review already. Actually i have a love & hate relationship with this mascara. *sigh* I'll tell you all about it later. Let's get to know the product first.

It's in a pretty box that looks like so. I like the packaging for it looks chic!

easy to remove? ... uh huh...

I like how it is packaged. For some reason i love mascaras that are in a black tube. It makes them look chic..i guess..i prefer the classic look for mascara rather than colorful ones.

This doesn't look cheap for if you notice it the main container is encased in a clear plastic tube. So classy!

But of course, we will not judge the mascara based on it's packaging,ne?

Continuing on, this is how the wand looks like...

Fiberwig's wand is a lot bigger, but the fiber of this mascara is a lot longer than Fiberwig! I can achieve the look of naturally long lashes with just 1 coat (3 swipes at the most) of this mascara. 2 for that false lashes look!

Fiber mascaras would tend to eventually bring your curled lashes down when worn alone. Adding those fibers would eventually take a toll on your lashes, plus of course we can blame gravity for that too. You can take a look at this pic..

My lashes look fuller when curled but when i put this mascara, seconds after applying it, my lashes would go down. It would be long of course, but the curl will be gone by then that you won't appreciate the beauty of your long lashes anymore.

What i do is that i use a waterproof mascara underneath to keep my curl intact... that even if i layer fibers on it, the curl will stay.

See the difference from the pic above? I applied 2 coats of mascara here too.

I applied 1 coat of Majolica Majorca Lash Enamel prior to applying this mascara just to keep my curl intact. I find that the only thing that works for me in keeping my curls stay curled is to use a waterproof mascara underneath.

I mean i know that most people use heated curler or even use clear mascara to act as a gel in keeping the curls. I think they work pretty fine if you use ordinary mascaras, but not when you use fiber mascaras. The more fiber you add on your lashes, the more your curls tend to go down down, so it's better to bring in the big guns when you deal with fiber mascaras.

It will definitely make your eyes stand out!

If you remember what i said before, i have a love-hate relationship with this because it's so hard to apply it! I mean it's hard because it dries sooooooooooo slow. I have a semi-monolid so when i blink/look up while this mascara is still drying it would leave that ugly smudge mark on my lids.

Ugh!

I remember one time when i met with bf, he said that i got a dirt on my lids. He keep on wiping it but it won't come off. At that time i don't have my kit with me because i was in a hurry so i decided to just bring my wallet. I had to stop & look at the window of a tinted car because i want to know what it is. Imagine my horror when i saw those smudge marks at my eyelid!

Since this is waterproof, wiping with a kerchief will just lead to bigger disaster since it will leave a horrible mascara streak on which would just stay on your lids until you buy an oil-based make-up remover to remove the blasted & offending mark! I had to buy a bottle of make-up remover & Q tips at that time just to remove the smudge mark on that day. Talk about unnecessary purchase! Tsk!

I'm basically a patient person but not when it comes to mascara. I want my mascara to dry fast. I don't have the time to fiddle with my lashes all because my mascara is still wet. I have been born with a semi-monolid so i make the best out of it by using a fast-drying mascara that won't make me look at my mirror every now & then to check it.

This is the only mascara that i tried that would require me to have a Q tip soaked in make-up remover near me for i have never had a time that i used it without leaving me smudge marks! Definitely not good for those on the go ladies... Well, if you got the time to lounge around & keep your eyes close while drying it for fear of smudging then why not!

This is the only reason why i don't like it. Basically this is pretty nifty mascara especially if you are after lengthening your lashes, but i can't abide the drying time. This has the formula like those western mascara brand that dries forever. 1 In2it SA said to me that this is actually a Japanese cosmetic brand... if so then i think its a shame. I love Japanese mascaras!

On the other hand when it dries it stays there. No smudging, flaking, panda eyes, whatsoever IF YOU MANAGE TO DRY IT WITHOUT SMUDGING IT FIRST then it will stay that way, yes! It is easy to remove if you use it alone, on which as i said fiber mascaras won't give you a full look unless you manage to do something about making sure that your curls will stay.

So, let's do a summary after all the hullabaloo..

PROS:

• cheap
• locally available
• easy to remove (using oil-based remover,ok?)
• "volumizes" & really lengthen the lashes
• no flaking
• packaging is sleek
  

CONS:

• Dries a long time - not for those in a hurry!
• might not be available in other countries
• can weigh lashes down if used alone

Will i buy again?
Well, there are still the Elianto & James Cooper mascaras waiting to be tried... So if you are going to ask me now if i will buy it the answer is NO! It has a good potential to be a HG mascara but the drying time is just horrendous for me that it is coloring my judgment even if this mascara is good.

I will put this on my "products-most-likely-to-buy" list. If i won't be able to find a good fiber mascara this will do, but if i'm going to compare this to Fiberwig i'll still choose Fiberwig in a heartbeat even if the fibers of this mascara is longer. I'd rather go for something that dries up faster.

What is your go-to eyeshadow?

I'm sure we all have that days when we are running late & much as we want to do our eye make-up we just can't for the worry of rush hour is occupying our mind. In that case, i'm sure most of you would at least swipe an eyeshadow on your lids for that extra oomph in your look! So, tell me, what's your i-don't have-the-time-but-this-will-still-make-me-pretty eyeshadow?

I used to think that neutral eyeshadows are boring & is just for oba-sans (old ladies). But i guess i can already call myself as an oba-san too since i love neutral shadows now. In fact, my go-to shadows are MAC Woodwinked & the Milani Glimmer Stripes in Bronze Glimmer. I know i said just 'eyeshadow', right? But then since they are almost in the same family & i really reach for them most of the time so they are my favorites.

As what i said before, i am an NC20 & i could go from NC20 to NC35 especially when i'm exposed to the sun frequently, especially when i go swimming for i am the type of person who will sleep on the water if it's even possible. I love lounging around in the pool!

Speaking of which, when my best friend had her birthday celebration we went swimming for the whole day & i got a bad case of sunburn. That was last October 3 & up until now my tan marks are still visible. I think i am NC25 as of now, I'm trying to use Papaya soap in lightening my skin for i have freckles on my shoulders...

I am really a chatterbox! I can go on & on about something that is totally out of topic... I'm sorry about it. Anyway, the point of that is to say that these shadows still work great even if i swing from 1 tone to another. I love them!

This is a close up of how it looks like.

Actually in only use 3 shadows on the Milani Glimmer Stripes. The top part, which is a gorgeous highlighter (it reminds me of my MAC Sugarshot e/s which i lost *sniff*)... the middle part which is a nice shimmery taupey color... then the bottom shadow is a tan which is a great all over lid color!

MAC Woondwinked on the other hand is like a golden rusty brown which glides on like a butter since it is a Veluxe Pearl formula. It gives that nice pearly look without going overboard. Even my mum can get away with this look even if she has a few lines around her eyes. I think this actually a good color not only for those that got brown eyes but for other eye color as well!

Plus, depending on the color of your base, it can transform from gold to dark gold to taupe...
L-O-V-E-L-Y!

I did not swatch the highlighter anymore..hehe.. a highlighter is a highlighter. XD

Oh, i actually swiped the Milani Eyeshadow a couple of time to get the color since it's a bit chalky compare to MAC. I still love them!

Maybelline Color Sensational Moisture Extreme Lipcolor Review

Lipstick is an important part of our make-up kit,ne? I think that lipstick can make you look from drab to fab.

I bought Maybelline Color Sensational Moisture Extreme lipcolor months ago. I guess it's about time to post a review.

I can't understand why Maybelline has to change the name of their products once they market it here in the Philippines. I know that in US they just call it as Moisture Extreme which is in the exact packaging to this one. I also know that Maybelline US also has a different Color Sensational Lipstick in the silver packaging. Did they combine those 2 lipstick formula hence it's Color Sensational Moisture Extreme?

I remember that the mascara in teh big yellow tube in the US is known as the Colossal, hereit's the Magnum Mascara. It's just all so confusing! At least they didn't change the Pulse Perfection Mascara...

Anyway, it's only name that i get confused of, but the quality of this product is not confusing for it only leans to GOOD.

I actually like this product! They have 4 color collection that caters to what you need.. The Reds, Pinks, Corals & Nudes

So, i got 2 shades... one is the Summer Sunset which is a gorgeous deep red & also Pink Peach which is a cute pink lipstick.

What i like most about this is that it glides on really smooth. It is also pretty pigmented so you only need a couple or two swipes to have that color on your lips.

I applied it on my lips so that you'll be able to see it better when it's on. This is the Pink Peach...

On which is better when i apply lip concealer. My lips are pretty pigmented so the color doesn't show that much. I applied this without lip concealer.

Then this one is the Summer Sunset. My favorite between the 2..

I really like how pigmented it is! Since it is "moisture extreme" it's not as drying compare to the other lipsticks that i've tried but i still prefer to moisturize my lips beforehand. It doesn't feel drying even if it has been sitting on your lips for quite some time already. It also doesn't make my lips chap like crazy.

Naturally this is not matte so it's not really long wearing, i have to reapply it every now & then but it's ok with me since i have this weird habit of reapplying lipstick even though it still looks ok.

See what i said a little while ago about going from drab to fab?
Would you believe that i didn't have anything on.. not even powder. I just swiped on the lipstick & it managed to make me look presentable even though you can see my un-groomed brows & dark undereye.

Did i say that this has SPF 15?
No?
Well, it has!

For Php 299, you can't go wrong with these lipsticks. They are totally a keeper!

With the price that you pay for, expect that the packaging is not that good of a quality though. It's so light that it feels like it could slip on hands anytime & just end up smashed on the floor because of my clumsiness. Well, luckily i haven't dropped it & i hope i never will.

You know the feeling of lipsticks that got cheap packaging on which if you open it every now & then, it would crack up? Then because of the crack, it makes the lid a bit loose so it would end up with the lid falling off because it doesn't fit anymore? Well, it's the same with this one. I'm really uber careful in putting the cap back on for fear of cracking it up & not being able to fit the cap once more.

Well, you get what you pay for,right? The important thing is the product,anyway.
But then, the caps of my lipsticks hasn't cracked up yet so i'm hoping that my fear would be pointless.hehehe


PROS:

• pigmented
• cheap
• locally available
• has a good selection of shades
• glides smoothly
• has spf 15

CONS:

• im not sure if this specific lipstick is available in other country as well (in Asia, it's available)
• lipstick tube feels very light

Will i buy it again?
I definitely will! As what i said a while ago, this is a keeper! I'll most probably be buying something from the Coral & Nude collection...

I wanted to try at least 1 Revlon Colorburst though... I have been reading a lot of good write up for that one.

We change the formula when the one in the US does not suit asian needs (ex. Magnum vs Colossal - Colossal gives volume to unruly lashes vs magnum gives volume to downward pointing lashes).
We change the pack naman when the formula is the same, but the pack is so expensive that we would be forced to price it here at a very high amount. In these cases, we would rather put the product at an affordable price because we want every Filipina to use a good quality product with a reasonable pack. 

We know of course that there are also many makeup lovers who really collect the amazing packaging so we are trying to bring in both types of products.

 Our local formulas are developed by our laboratories specifically for Asian skin tones and climate. It's much hotter and more humid here than in the US, so if we use their formulas, our products won't be long-wearing and won't fit our local needs. :)"

Sweets: Bungeoppang Ice Cream

I was just browsing around a korean store in a small mall the other day, named Homesavers. I like going there because they have a lot of nice stuff, but not as cheap as Saizen though. I was surprised because the last time i was there they don't sell any foods but now they do!

I happily bought a couple of korean foods & of course i didn't pass up the opportunity to try the bungeoppang ice cream that i found on their freezer. In Japan, they call it as Taiyaki... shape is the same.

Sorry if the pic looks crappy because i only used my cell phone. I didn't expect to do a food taking session at that time.

I was surprised when i saw this in the chest freezer. I would have bought more at that time but i know that it would be bad for the weather was so hot that time & buying ice cream then traveling home might just make it end up in a mess.

I was walking but stopping some time just to take these pics...hehe

I love it!

The "bread" (i'm not even sure what to call it!) is chewy. It's almost a wafer minus the crunch factor... it's like if you make the wafer chewy then you'll have this. I like it. It actually compliments everything.

You'll see how much the red bean is once you get to the middle part of it. I know that beans is not good for my knees, but what the heck?! I like it! It doesn't have that strong bean taste, in fact the taste is subtle & you might not even realize that what you are eating are actually beans!

I bought mine at Araneta Square in Monumento. I'm planning to do a little post about it since i'll be blogging about sweets,right?

Speaking of that, i remember 1 time when i attended an event, there were people asking me if i had a business card... that got me confused... do i need a business card?

Fanny Serrano 2 way cake review

I said before that Fanny Serrano 2 way cake is said to rival MAC's Studio Fix Powder + Foundation, on which i quoted my friend's brother who has been a long time MAC user. I have not tried MAC Studio Fix because i remember a time when i broke out when i applied it. I don't want to risk further skin irritations by using products that i have a bad reaction with.

So, since FS 2 way cake was highly recommend i decided to try this. Anyway, it's way cheaper than MAC so i won't have any regrets if ever. I have been using this for 3 months now so i guess it's time to make a review.

Is it good?
Is it really something wonderful?

Let's find out....

Fanny Serrano is a popular make-up artist of local celebrities here in the Philippines. He now has his own cosmetic company. Since he is a well-known artist, im pretty sure that his products would be of good quality. After all, you can't risk your own name if you're not offering quality service/products,right?

They have 7 shades available. I think my shade is cross between Satin & Duchess...Satin belonging in the same shade with Duchess only with a different undertone, which makes Satin look a bit lighter than Duchess. I decided to get this since i don't want to look too pale if i will get the latter. I think Satin have a pink undertone & Duchess with yellow undertone, if my memory serves me right...

Then this is the ingredients list...

Uh oh..paraben alert!
Anyway, traditional cosmetics really do have parabens,right? Hey! Even Neutrogena Fine Fairness UV Compact has parabens on it! I don't know if this has the exact ingredients with MAC... please tell me if it is,girls.

So, this is how it looks like.

It has a clear top with the Fanny Serrano logo in the middle, which you can clearly see the product. The mirror is actually underneath together with the sponge applicator. It's made of sturdy material & it doesn't look cheap,mind you!

I personally find it a nuisance to flip it every time i use this product if i don't have a handy mirror with me. Imagine how troublesome it is to flip it down to get the product then flip it up again just to use the mirror.

On which MAC Studio Fix's packaging is way better. But of course, i understand how Mama Fanny would want to make his products be a bit different from leading cosmetic brands... But still...

On to the product... this is how Duchess looked like.

I actually like the fact that 2 way cakes are adjustable based on your coverage need. Use it dry if you want a light-medium coverage & wet for medium-heavy coverage. Since i don't like heavy coverage, i don't see the need to actually try it on my face using wet sponge.

I hate having that "foundation day" look! I'd rather be caught with bare skin (warts & all) than have that heavy 'powder mask' on my face.

This is the swatch that i put at the back of my hand. Sorry if i didn't put it on my face for my acne is acting up again..

The product is really finely milled & goes on really smooth! I have used a couple of pressed powder/foundation, but this is the finest so far (when i say finest, im talking about the texture). There is a scent on it. It has this sweet smell on it, but it goes away once it's already on your skin...or maybe you just get immune to the scent? Anyway, it's not really THAT overwhelming that causes a reaction to my allergic rhinitis, so it's ok with me.

When i apply powder foundations i use face brushes, not sponges or those powder applicators which i find a bit unhygienic if not washed regularly. I get to control how light/heavy i want my coverage is by using either kabuki or flat top brushes.

Since this is finely milled, i find that it clings to the bristles better though every time i swirl my brush on the cake, some left over powder will be sitting on top which i think is a waste. But that is only if you use a brush. If you use sponges, i'm sure you'll be maximizing this. I still prefer using brush though... the drawback in using brush aside from the left over powder is that it looks messy.

No matter how messy this is (anyway, it's my choice for i keep on using brushes), i still like it. It doesn't actually break me out even though i know it got parabens on it. It stays on me really good even though i sweat a lot. I only remove it through constant kerchief wiping but if i just dab on the spot, it actually stays on.

Plus the fact that it doesn't give me this weird finish even if i sweat unlike liquid foundations or other pressed powders that i try that makes splotches once you sweat. This one doesn't! Hurray! Love it!

When i look at their website, the description says that it has UV Protection. It's just not included in the packaging. If so, then all the more reason to love it,right?

As for oil control, it wasn't really able to successfully control the oil, but then it withstood 4 hours (the most) of controlling it so i think it still did a pretty outstanding job knowing that my skin is an oil mine.

If you read my Neutrogena Fine Fairness Compact review, i said that i'm in love with it. It is actually a very good product, but then it's expensive, while Fanny Serrano is more wallet-friendly. With a price of Php 399, this is definitely a keeper! I'm not saying that this is dirt cheap, ok?

I'm speaking as a mass (those whose budget falls in the category of students or "belt-tighteners") that shedding out Php400 for a foundation will make them hesitate. This is really good for the price that you pay for. As what my friend's brother said & i quoted "Hindi na ko bibili ng MAC ever!" (I won't buy MAC ever again!).

Again, i said that i am breaking out because i just finished my monthly so i don't want to apply cosmetics. Actually i have been observing that rule for quite sometime, that when my acne is acting up, i will not use make-up as much as possible. So, gomen, minna-san, i can't post my current pic for now, but then when i did this look, i was wearing this foundation.

 

If you click it, you'll see some zit marks somewhere on my jaw area, on which this foundation actually did a pretty good job in covering.

I like this product so much that i've hit the pan!

• didn't break me out
• has a good selection of shades
• will not get splotchy even if you sweat
• the sponge applicator is actually nice
• the sponge is separated to the product so it's hygienic!

CONS:

• i don't like the packaging (Mama Fanny, please have the mirror & the product "facing" each other for more convenient use)
• they don't sell powder refills
• might not be available internationally

Will i buy it again?
Of course!

I said before that you will know when i'm excited about something that i put in a lot of exclamation points & this post has a lot of 'em which means that i LOVE this product! 2 thumbs  up for Mama Fanny Serrano for coming up with a good product! Oi! 5 more exclamation points! hahaha!

Gomen, Neutrogena, i found a better replacement for you. After all, i am still holding a grudge about my beloved soap. I know this is so unprofessional, but then im not really a pro to start with. Pro ja nai, im just an ordinary blogger who shares what i think & feel.

I think most of us had a spot for sweets,right? Of course, im not an exception. I don't really have a sweet tooth but there are some times where i feel like eating something sweet. When i feel like eating sweets then i really go for it! I'll just do some random posts every now & then about something sweet..just for fun..hehe.

 So, Kit Kat Custard Pudding would be my first post... 

I said before that Eileen-san gave me a couple of Japanese sweets together with the Matcha that i asked her to get me while she was in Japan. I have been meaning to blog about it but i keep on forgetting it.

Let's start the first sweet entry!

It already said that it is miniature in size. But it won't matter for when you pop it in your mouth, one pack is already enough!

When i said that this is sweet, it feels like the word SWEET was made to describe this. This is so sweet that it could  really give you a toothache.

Well, considering that Japanese pudding is really sweet...that's why kids (& even adults) loves snacking on it, plus custard...which we all know is really sweet so i guess it's to be expected. But i think this is really too much! It has this white chocolate coating that melts with just your touch... so it would also literally melt in your mouth. It's like butter!

Once you tore the packaging you'll already smell how sweet this is.

Once the coating has melted in your mouth & you bite in the crisp wafer, you'll taste the custard which is like made of pure vanilla itself. Actually i have to say that it tastes pretty good. It's just that it's too sweet for my taste so i wasn't able to really enjoy it.

Well, i'm sure there would be lots of Kit Kats that are not as sweet as this & is just waiting to be tasted..LOL

I'm actually thinking of ordering a couple of Japanese Kit Kats from Ebay. That is if there won't be any at Choto Stop, on which i am planning to drop by at around Monday for i think it's during monday where new stocks from Japan arrives.

Weekend Nails: Curlicue Design

It has been a long time since i made a weekend nails post.

As what i said before, i have planned to have long nails & part of my nail care routine is to let my nails 'breathe', so i have not applied nail polish for quite sometime now except from the nail art that i had together with kite. I don't like seeing yellow nails for they look so neglected & malnourished..LOL

So i tried using the polish that i bought from Beauty & Butter.. the number 39 which is a blue sheen polish. I have to say that it actually look pretty by itself. This is the nail design that we will be doing...

Materials needed:

• base & top coat
• your choice of base color
• white polish
• silver polish or your choice of polish for lining
• black polish or black acrylic
• detailing brush

Once you have applied your base coat, choose your base color. In my case, it's a blue one

Then put a streak of white polish in the middle of your nails like so...

Then this is hard part...With your detailing brush, draw the curlicue design on the white streak with black polish. Actually it's better to use acrylic but mine had already dried up so i just used black polish instead.

It would look like this afterward.

To make it look neat then line the white polish with silver polish so to have a neat edge.

Then clean the edges of your nails before applying top coat.

Ta daa!

This design would take practice. See how messy my ring fingernail is? I practiced on this nail first so it looks like that.hehehe.

Purederm Nourishing Repair Hair Mask

I have received some products from Purederm a couple of weeks ago & this is the first one that i have opened up. I colored my hair yesterday on which my main goal is just to cover my white hairs. Yes, i do have some white hairs which is maybe not that obvious on pics, but is pretty much obvious when i style my hair.

So, after rinsing it out, i could smell a faint ammonia scent which i find nauseous. As what i keep on saying, i have a very sensitive sense of smell on which faint scents would already seem like an overwhelming scent for me especially since it is on my hair. It was hard for me to sleep for i find it very disturbing.

Anyway, i said to myself that i would try the hair mask for it might help cover the scent. So, i popped open the package & applied it.....

Well, do i like it?

hmmm....
I'm actually having a mixed feeling about this product for it's ok but not also ok.

Wanna know why?
Let's dissect the product little by little. Let's start with the product description which i took from their website.

It's good to see something that is addressed to those that got curly hair like mine, because it feels like majority of the ladies have been brainwashed from commercials & advertisements that straight hair is the best.

Let's take a look at the description on the back...

Sounds like they are describing my hair... frizzy, damaged, unruly & curly. LOL

Here are the ingredients:

Chamomile when used on hair can restore dull-looking hair plus it can soothe scalp irritations. For those that suffer from dandruff you can even use Chamomile to treat it!

Going back to the product itself, the hair mask is made from Chamomile on which im not really a fan of it's scent for i find it disturbing. I grew up with my mum slathering Chamomile Oil on my tummy every time i suffer from gas pains. I never really like it, but i have already associated gas pains to chamomile scent. Hey, that's just my personal opinion,ok?

I like herbs. In fact, whenever i cook pasta dishes i make it a point to put in a whole of herbs to make it taste really good. Herbal stuff is good, but there are just certain herbs that i stay away from because the scent is too overwhelming & again, Chamomile is one of them.

But that didn't stop me... since i have already opened i & it's for my hair so i decided, what the heck!...i will not die from the Chamomile scent. I applied it but the scent is so strong that it filled our bathroom with chamomile scent for just mere seconds. so, for those who adores Chamomile scent, then this product is for you!

It looks whitish in this pic, but when you actually pour it in your palms, it has this mild greenish tint. The texture is just like your usual everyday conditioner.

I applied it on my hair, actually i started from my scalp although i normally don't apply hair products on my scalp except for shampoo for some products give me dandruff.

I waited for 5 minutes before rinsing the product & it made my hair a lot softer & smoother while i was rinsing, on which my everyday conditioner can actually do. The thing that matter is when it dries.

So i waited until it dries.....

Uhhhh...

I think it's just the same. I didn't really feel anything different. Actually i have the type of hair that looks shiny & soft but not when you touch it. It looks bouncy & wavy but it's not really smooth. So i am looking for a product that can actually make it soft to the touch too. Sadly, it didn't make it soft. The thing that works for me is applying Vitamin E topically. So i applied Vitamin E at around evening time as a part of my evening hair routine.

I know that this has Tocopheryl Acetate on it, but i think it's not enough for my hair. It made my hair soft when i was rinsing it, but not when it dried up. Now, im not saying that this didn't do anything for my hair at all. Actually when i woke up, it gave me the bounciest, shiniest & soft natural curls that i didn't even bother combing my hair anymore for i find it pretty enough as it is.

Applying Vitamin E on my hair also gives me that smooth, shiny & soft hair, but not bounciness. Im already happy with smooth, shiny & soft hair... but who wouldn't want bounciness too,right?

I know that Purederm also has Jojoba Oil hair Mask & i would have preferred to try it compare to Chamomile for i have already tried Jojoba conditioner & it worked wonders on my hair before.

Now, when it comes to price im actually torn between saying that this is either cheap or expensive. It's cheap in a way that unlike other hair masks that you buy in a big container which costs at around Php250 (more or less than $7), you can just buy this for less than Php 80 (more or less than $2). On which, depending on the length of your hair, can either yield you 2x or 3x usage.

For individuals who have short hair & this works wonder, i think it could actually be a pretty cheap product. For me, who has long hair & didn't really worked as much as i would want it to be, i find it expensive. But of course, it would just depend on each person's preference,right? That's just mine. I'll just leave the price decision to you.

So, let's do a little summarization...
PROS:

• good for those who love Chamomile scent
• gives hair that added bounciness
• locally available
• has different variants

CONS:

• i personally don't like the scent
• didn't work on me as i expected it to

Well, i lost my waves at around mid morning....  By the way, i said that i colored my hair right? And there is a faint scent of ammonia, this hair mask was able to get rid of the scent... which is good! I'd rather smell Chamomile compare to ammonia...

I believe that this is my first hair product post. I use a lot for my hair but i was never able to do a write up about it. I guess i better start taking the time to blog about hair as well. I use a lot of hair masks & every hair products that i could get my hands on.
