Swatch time again~
Im down to my last Ebalay polish.. it's A01.
I layered this over a black polish to show the effect so i'll let you judge this by yourself.
This is how it looks like when light shifts...
The duochrome effect is not that obvious unlike other Ebalay polishes but still very pretty!

Ebalay Nail Polish in A04
Polish Swatch time again~!
Another Ebalay polish since you all know how much i love duochromes, this time it's A04.
Love the pink color. It just looks so sweet!
^_^
This is over a black base polish.
It look s a bit like A09, the only difference is that this one have a more pronounced purple tint on it. It's almost violet than blurple (hahaha!).
Here are a couple more pictures for better appreciation.
The color change is a bit subtle but it looks pretty all the same.

Ebalay Nail Polish in A06
My favorite duochrome polish!
Another Ebalay swatch for you all. If you haven't tried duochrome polishes, you have to. It's like having 2 color on your nails all at the same time.
Again, duochrome polishes look best underneath a black base, so this swatch is done under a black polish.
It looks a glittery plum on a certain angle but once you tilt your nails & it caught the light, then that's when the magic starts!
Look at that green-ish tint almost screaming at you!
Here's a close-up for your inspection
Duochromes are great,no?
hahaha

Ebalay Nail Polish in 007
Another Ebalay Polish for you to drool at!
LOL!
I've been mentioning for a long time how i love the Ebalay Polishes, now i'm gonna present another one, this time it's in 007.
Just look at the color change happening right there & then!
You can clearly see the duochrome effect this polish has when layered over a black polish.
Here is a zoomed in version of it....
Pretty!
Now i'm gonna show you the awesomeness of duochrome polishes once it's under the water.
Now tell me if that doesn't look gorgeous or not?!
I mentioned before that i had tried using Ebalay when i frankened my midnight holo polishes. You can check here HERE. So i'm gonna try frankening with this some day too.
You can get this at KKCenterhk.com or go straight to this LINK. You can use the code BLGA124TH10 for a 10% off.
Until next time!

I feel like rocking duochrome polish today so i gave in.

See the transition of colors? This is just 1 coat.
I was having a hard time takings pics of it but i tried my best.hehe
Then a close-up of it under different bases. They look best under black, purple & navy blue bases.
Just look at that hint of purple on the sides of the blue base...
Pretty,huh?
But what do you think look best?
I wonder how this would fare up when i add spectraflair to make this holographic....
I'll let you all know once i franken it.

I love duochrome polishes!
I especially like them in frankening with spectraflair. They make great holographic polishes.hahaha!
I'm gonna share another duochrome from Ebalay.
This time it's number 11.
I swatched this over black. Duochromes show better under a black base but you can layer them over other colors as well.
Did you see that hint of violet at the side? from Royal blue to violet! Cute, huh?
You can buy this at KKCenterhk.com.
If you want to get this shade, you can hop on over to this LINK. You can use the code BLGA124TH10 for a 10% off.

Weekend Nails: polka hearty
This was how my nails look like last weekend. I should made the tutorial for this but i have been quite busy recently so i don't get to visit my blog as much as i want to.
*sigh*
Anyway, making this is really easy.
The one thing that made this design such a breeze to do is because of the cute heart decals that KKCenterhk.com sent me.
Here is the tutorial for this design. Please click the pic to see it better.

The one thing that made this design such a breeze to do is because of the cute heart decals that KKCenterhk.com sent me.
Here is the tutorial for this design. Please click the pic to see it better.
Materials needed:
- white polish/acrylic
- liner brush
- dotting tool
- your choice of 3 polish (for the decal base & dots)
- heart water decals
I used a different color combination for my tutorial but the process is just the same.
- I applied a holographic base but you can use glitters if you want to or can just go bare.
- Using a white polish/acrylic & a liner brush, i then sweep a thin line at the side of the nail like in the pic.
- Then fill it in with white polish/acrylic.
- With your choice of polish as a base, apply it on the 1/3 side of the nail... depending on your decals, you can make it bigger or smaller.
- Pick your own decals & prepare them.
- Carefully apply your decals on the part where you applied the base color.
- Pick out 2 colors that you would want your dots to be.
- Then alternately apply them on the white part.
- Don't forget to finish it up with your favorite top coat!
I love this decal!
It's cute,ne?
If you want to get the same decals, you can head on over to KKCenterhk.com. They have lots of water decals to choose from!

Ebalay Nail Polish in 008
Another gorgeous duochrome polish from KKCenterhk!
Doesn't this look nice on the bottle?
Methinks it's so pretty! Not as pretty as the 009 though but still nice.
If you forgot how 009 looks like, here it is.
That's the swatch of both ebalay polishes that KkCenterhk had sent me. These polishes are better for layering over dark bases.
I love duo/multichrome finishes! Makes you think that you have 2 colors on your nails at the same time.
What do you think about this?
Are you digging it?
I do!
If you want to get this shade, you can hop on over to this LINK. You can use the code BLGA124TH10 for a 10% off.
By the way, i received my Spectraflair the other day! OMG!
Just look at those! Rainbow in a baggie! LOL!
I sure wish that i could come up with great holographic franken polishes!
Well,i'm off to my best friend's house for a sleep over. Yay!
Hope you all will have a great weekend!

Weekend Nails: star decals~
This is not really a tutorial but i would just like to share my weekend nail art.
There are times when i just don't feel like spending time glamming up my nails. In times like this, i just use decals. It's a sure-fire way to achieve great nails in just a matter of minutes!
I used my own franken polish that i called Confetti (thanks to my Doc Idol for the name suggestion!) as my glitter base. The glitters & flakies are not showing up but it looks beautiful in person. Walter can't stop staring at my nails because he was fascinated with the flakies..hahaha!
I have to make a post about my franken polishes some other time.
If you want to have the same decals that i use here, you can hop on over to KKcenterkh.com. You can use the coupon code BLGA124TH10 for a 10% off your purchase.
By the way, i am loving the top coat that i am using. See how shiny it looks like on the first pic?!
Yay for D Nails gel Look Top Coat!
My internet is down today. I hope that it will be ok asap. I'm just using my mom's plug-it device.
Now i'm off to the post office. I've been dying of excitement! I hope it's my spectraflair already! hahaha!
Hope you all are having a great day!

Ebalay Nail Polish in 009 vs Orly Space Cadet
Feeling bummed out because you missed out on Orly's Space Cadet from the FX Collection way long ago?
I got news for you then!
Feast your eyes on this!
Oh, yeah!
You are seeing it right! A possible dupe for Space Cadet!
How did i get a hold of something precious like this? You can take a look at KKCenterhk.com.
They have a wide variety of this Ebalay polishes, this one is 009
Just look at how awesome it is!
See the play of colors?
It goes from a deep purple to magenta then greenish-gold glitters depending on the angle!
I'm in love!
This is a comparison with Orly's Space Cadet. Excuse the mess. I didn't realize that it would look this messy because i cleaned it before i took pictures but obviously, it wasn't enough.
My pointer & middle nails have the Ebalay, while the ring & pinkie sports the Orly.
They look almost the same except that orly has more of a teal jelly base, while Ebalay has a purple jelly but it could almost be comparable. The difference is not really that obvious in person, especially if you layer it over a black base.
Plus the best thing about it is that it's only $6.80!
That's a steal compare to Orly,ne?
If you want to order this, click on this LINK to be directed to it.

I have one more Ebalay polish to share with you, ladies

Landbis Quick Eyeliner Review
Eyelining is step that most girls do not skip. It makes a big difference when you line your eyes. It could change your eye shape! That's why looking for a good eyeliner is quite tricky. I'll be reviewing the eyeliner that i got from KKCenterhk.com.
I've had this eyeliner for a few months already & i have fully tested it & i guess it's an ok product.
Let me give you a swatch first...
I lightly swatched this just once & you'll see how pigmented this is. It's great for dark smokey looks because this one is soft & you can easily smudge it unlike other liners that takes forever in smudging. This one is pliable & you can easily smoke it out by just running a q-tip or angled brush over it for a few times.
Now, i'll point out the things that i like about this....
First, it's an automatic liner which is quite handy because you won't need to sharpen it every other then especially when you're in a hurry.
Admit it, girls, how many times have you've promised yourself that you would sharpen your favorite liner after every use but haven't done so? I used to love my Lancome Crayon Kohl but i always tend to forget sharpening it up until i just lost it! hahaha! So this is a good thing that you would just have to twist it.
Though i have to say, one thing that i like about pencil liner is how hygienic it is. I mean you can easily disinfect pencil liners by dipping it in an alcohol,. let it dry then sharpen it & you got yourself a new, clean, eyeliner once more.
Second, i said before that it's very easy to work with this because it is soft. You can achieve a beautiful smokey liner with just a few strokes. It's very "workable" that it's almost like a kohl.. minus the goopiness...hehe
Kohl liners are amazing but often times they are just too soft so it's hard to apply them. This liner is amazing in that sense. It's firm enough to let you draw a liner yet still soft to allow you to smudge them without rubbing on your lashline heavily.
I'm not a fan of smokey lining so i just applied it as it is here. I carefully worked with it making sure that i do not apply too much pressure just because i have this feeling that the more pressure i apply on my lashline, the more my lashes fall... not good because i have sparse lashes to start with!
One thing that i just don't like about this is that this is not waterproof.
My main requirement for eyeliner is that it ought to be waterproof. What with me being sweaty & oily, only waterproof stuff works! I tried tightlining with this & after an hour, raccoon-eyes alert! eeekkkk!!!!
I guess i can use this really as an eyeliner not something to tightline with but i prefer my liners to be of multi-use. *sigh*
I guess it's hard to look for a liner that could keep up with my preferences, huh?
This could be liked by individuals who doesn't have oily lids to start with & has deep set eyes. Why only those with deep-set eyes? I have a semi-monolid eyes & everytime i blink, the pigment would transfer from my lashline to my lids... Can you just imagine how messy & awful that looks on me?
But i still use this when i would just have to do a quick errand & i don't have the luxury of time to wait for my liquid liner to dry.
As for the price, i'll leave it to you.
I think the price is not bad because this liner is really pigmented. It is sold for $9.51 at KKCenterhk.com. You can check it out HERE.
PROS:

- no need to sharpen
- cute packaging (black with pink dots...how cute is that?)
CONS:
- not waterproof
- not transfer-resistant
- have to use an oil-based remover to get rid of the traces left
- only available online
Will i buy it?
If they will have a waterproof version, i would gladly do so.
What is your favorite eyeliner?
Please share!
Hope you all are having a great day!

Beauty Angel Turn Up Long Mascara Review
Have you tried fiber mascaras?
Or are you scared of using it for fear that those fibers would somehow poke your eyes? always resorting to false lashes when you want to have longer-looking lashes?
Well now, you won't have to!
I was able to try a lengthening & volumizing fiber mascara without the "fibers"!
Sounds confusing?
When i posted the Etude House Dr. Mascara Fixer, i mentioned a fiber mascara that i was using. Well, this is it!
KKCenterhk.com is nice enough to let me try out this mascara.
It's housed in a gigantic tube, much like Fiberwig. There are several colors that you could choose from, i just choose a pink one, but they have blue & green as well. I think the only difference is the color of the packaging but they have same formula.
Honestly, at first i wasn't impressed with it but as i used it every now & then i changed my mind. This is definitely a keeper!
Let's start with the wand...
Looks so ordinary.. no fibers at all!
Told you, this doesn't have very obvious fibers so you won't need to worry about poking your eyes while applying.
I'm already saying in advanced that fiber mascaras are heavy. When i say heavy, it could weigh your lashes down therefore uncurling the lashes that you worked hard to curl... dame da.. not good!
tip:
There are 2 ways to make sure that your curls will stay.
Picture time...
click for your reference..
That's only two coats! I'm already quite satisfied with it.
I think it looks nice already!
I have been a fan of fiber mascaras because it is the only one that elongates my puny lashes giving me that feathery look that i've always wanted. But let me tell you one thing why i sometimes get annoyed with fiber mascaras. Most often than not, those tiny black fibers could result to fallout which looks like it's flaking. There were even times when i would just feel like something is in my eye which makes me very uncomfortable.
I have never felt any fibers from the mascara on my eye since this one doesn't have an obvious fibers on. Yay!
The best thing that i like about this is that since this is watery, you can have achieve well-groomed, uniform-looking lashes easily. Again, this takes a while to dry so you can take your time fixing how your want your lashes to look. You can run a lash comb to separate each lashes, or clump them together to have that falsies effect. You can't do that with fiber mascaras now, can you?
Another thing that i like about this is that since this a fiber mascara, you can easily take it off by just using water! But since i am using a waterproof primer underneath, it's pointless, but if you use it alone, removing it is just a breeze!
Now, one thing that turns me off the first time i used it is that it has a weird scent. It has this chemical-scent that i find a bit disturbing. It will go away later though, at least it's not something so awful that will give me a migraine. I'm ok with it since it disappears in time & not really overwhelming.
Another thing that makes me go meh! on this is the drying time. It doesn't dry as long as high end ones. Those waxy, good-for-nothing, "uncurling", mascara from most western cosmetic brands that i've tried dries forever. Well, this is not like that, fortunately, but this still takes a while.
Just make sure that you don't rub your eyes while this is drying,ok?
But once this is dries, it's really dry. No flaking or smudging!
Yay!
Those are my issues, but this is nevertheless, a great mascara.
It's a keeper in my book!
As always, i'll leave the price to you.. it's sold for $12.10 at KKCenterhk.com.
PROS:
I would put this on my products-to-try again list!
If ever you buy something at KKCenterhk.com make sure you include this in your shopping basket,ok?
Have a great Saturday,hunnies!

- You either use a clear mascara after curling. Just like hair gel, once you put it on, it will keep your hair place. Same rules apply to clear mascaras...
- You can apply heat to make sure it will stay longer... think of curling iron. Using a heated eyelash curler or heating your ordinary curler with a hair dryer could also work as well.
I mostly just use a clear mascara (or in this case the Dr. Mascara Fixer) to make sure that my lashes will stay curled for a long time.
Picture time...

Yay!

- can be removed very easily!
CONS:
- takes a while to dry
- disturbing scent

Nail Stripping Tapes~!
Striping tapes are just one of the many ways to instantly "up" your nails.
You can just go for a simple lined nail art or you can glam it up by adding lots of different colors, which i did today.
Just thought i'd share with you how to use striping tapes if you don't have any idea about it. Basically, it's just a thin strip of very colorful tape... much like a sticky tape albeit a better-looking one!
It looks like these...
These are from KKCenterhk. They have a wide selection of stripping tapes available in their site. Click HERE to be directed to their page.
What's great about striping tapes is that could last you a long time. You don't need to use a lot when you do nail designs.
I start with an iridescent pink base color.
Then i put in my choice of color combo.
I actually used acrylics here because it dries a lot faster than polishes. Polishes are better because they will give a smooth even finish unlike acrylics, but the drying time is terrible!
Time to start cutting the tapes... I have the laser silver tapes.
I used a tweezer to take the end of the tape then pull it on my desired length.
I then cut it using a clipper...
Depending on your design you can cut it short or long, it's better to cut it long so you'll have enough.
Stick it on your nails like so.
You can apply top coat prior to putting it, i just didn't bother with the top coat since i'm not yet used to maneuvering it. Applying it while top coat is still wet is better because it would be able to hold it down compare to without any TC.
Then cut the edges using your clipper.
Give it a nice trim. Make sure you cut it nicely without any ends splaying out because that will just lift later on & ruin the whole look.
Make sure that the ends are flat on the nails because if it isn't it will just come off easily later on. Use an orange stick to push it to make sure it really sticks. Then finish it off with a top coat!
I just added some flower stickers to complete it.
There are lots of things you could do with striping tapes. If you don't have a steady hand then striping tapes are very handy & would give you the lines that you've always wanted & more!
You can buy it at KKCenterhk.com for less than a dollar.
I say, that this is a pretty cheap product,ne?
Look at their selections of striping tape in this section.
I'll be making more nail designs some day using these tapes.
^_~
Hope you all are having a fine day!
