Thank you so much for the love that you showed for my nail art.
I am so proud of my work that's why i'm really happy that you all appreciate it. So here is my tutorial for that. I did a video & also a picture tutorial to show my appreciation.
I did the video tutorial first so you might notice that there's already a flower on the picture tutorial. The video doesn't have a sound though, but i figured that you might want to see how i was able to do it in real time. This is also the nail wheel that i used for my Yummy Sweets Collection! haha
When you work with acrylic, make sure that you have a towel/cotton soaked in alcohol. It makes getting off the acrylic easier than just plain water. That's why it's better to put top coat on your base color before you start working on the designs so that you would be able to protect your base color.
Another thing to remember is that you can't use the acrylic itself, you have to dilute it with water. It will make painting a lot easier. Just add a drop or two or water.
I used a navy blue base & a blue base. You can choose different color combinations too.
Black base & gold will look mighty good too! The choice is entirely yours to make.
Click the picture to see it better.
1. Using a detailing brush, put a tiny circle to start your flower.
2. Add 5 tiny curves facing the flowers to act as petals.
3. Then add random lines on the inside of the petals.
4. Repeat the process of adding more petals, around the flower that you had just made.
5. Just like in number 3, add random lines going to the inside of the petals to add definition.
6. Add a leaf or two.
7. Add in more details on like like swirls or buds. Make sure you finish it with top coat.
Time to admire your new nail art!
I used my cheap brush in making this, you can see on the video that i used it.
Tell me if you are able to do this nail art, hunnies!
I would love to see your nail art too.
^_^
Have a happy weekend!

my best nail art as of yet!walang kokontra!
hahaha!
No one could contradict my statement that this is my best mani as of yet simply because it is the best one so far! If the picture doesn't justify it, the effort that i took in making each & every painstaking detail of it would.
I can't take credit for the originality of this because this is actually the original work of Misuzu Taga from Nail Up!'s Vol.44. I have a lot of respect for japanese nail artist & Taga-san is one of my most favorite nail artist! Thank you to my onee-san for sending me a copy of it! This nail art is for you!
Look at the original design compare to my work.
Argh!
I really wanted to be able to make more petals & make it smaller but it's almost impossible for me to do so. As what i ranted on my facebook, i never realize that too much concentration could result in high blood pressure, muscle cramping, light-headedness,etc in just a matter of an hour!
But it's all worth it just because when i finally finished it, it looks amazing! Again, not really comparable with Taga-san's work but i did my best. Here is a close-up look of how messy everything looks.
Now, no one would dare make an assumption that this is a decal because you'll see the brush strokes & uneven color. I said that i would slap anyone who insisted that this is a nail sticker. haha!
I'm not a violent person by nature, mind you. I don't even watch boxing just because i consider it a violent activity.haha! But there was a time when someone told me how nice my "nail sticker" looks like when i was shopping before & i got really annoyed. Here is our conversation:
lady: Wow! Ang ganda naman ng nail art mo! (your nail art looks pretty)
me: Thank you po!
lady: Sticker to no? San mo binili? (this is sticker,no?where did you buy it?)
me: Hindi, ginawa ko. (no, i made it)
lady: Kaya nga, dinikit mo,diba? (yeah, you stick it on,right?)
me: Hindi, ako ang nagpinta sa kuko ko. (no, i am the one who painted it on my nails)
lady: Weh! Mukhang stickers lang o! (oh? it looks like stickers)
me: *getting annoyed already* Hindi nga, ako nga ang nagpinta. Ganito lang yan o... (No, i really did paint it. It's just like this)... *explains how to*
lady: Oo nga no! Ang galing! Posible pala yun! (yeah!that's great!that's possible!)
me: O,diba, kayang gawin sa kamay lang. (see? it's possible to do it by hand.)
lady: Pero muka pa ding sticker ha. (but it still looks like sticker)
What the?!
Can you blame me? LOL!
I started this yesterday evening & i stopped halfway just because i am already too drained. This was how it looked like halfway done. I decided to change my pinkie design this morning because i think it doesn't look good.
I woke up really early just to finish this work.
I'm mighty proud of how this looks like!
So please, walang kokontra, maganda talaga ang nail art ko!hahaha (So please, don't contradict because my nail art looks beautiful!)
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!
By the way, i used my cheap brush for this work. See?
The price is not the factor how you should judge a product.
Hope you are having a great day, ladies!

My Easter Nail Art
I just want to greet you all a Happy Easter & also share my easter mani.
This is not really a nail art tutorial though.. hehe
Making this is not that difficult, except for the the roses. That's the only one that took me long to make it but other than that, i'm sure you'll be able to make this one by yourself,ne?
What do you think?
Should i have just painted easter eggs instead?
Have a happy Sunday,ladies!

Weekend Nails: Curlicue Design
It has been a long time since i made a weekend nails post.
As what i said before, i have planned to have long nails & part of my nail care routine is to let my nails 'breathe', so i have not applied nail polish for quite sometime now except from the nail art that i had together with kite. I don't like seeing yellow nails for they look so neglected & malnourished..LOL
So i tried using the polish that i bought from Beauty & Butter.. the number 39 which is a blue sheen polish. I have to say that it actually look pretty by itself. This is the nail design that we will be doing...
Materials needed:
Once you have applied your base coat, choose your base color. In my case, it's a blue one
Then put a streak of white polish in the middle of your nails like so...
Then this is hard part...With your detailing brush, draw the curlicue design on the white streak with black polish. Actually it's better to use acrylic but mine had already dried up so i just used black polish instead.
It would look like this afterward.
To make it look neat then line the white polish with silver polish so to have a neat edge.
Then clean the edges of your nails before applying top coat.
Ta daa!
This design would take practice. See how messy my ring fingernail is? I practiced on this nail first so it looks like that.hehehe.
Hope y'all have a great weekend,hunnies!

weekend nails: Snowflakes
It's been weeks since my last weekend nail post...so to make up for it, i decided to make a winter-inspired look. This is my first time do this kind of design so don't expect a perfect one..
Excuse the dirty pole...I wasn't thinking straight when i grabbed it..the only thing that i was thinking is to be able to take a good shot of my nails...
I'll just be saying this in advance...you need to have a steady hand to be able to paint the snowflakes. Painting my left hand is easy for me, but the right hand took me lots of effort because my left hand is not as steady as my right...
Also the fact that i don't have a dark blue polish that's why i have to make my own...
I'll leave the choice of color up to you...These are the tools that i used:
Now comes the hard part..but we'll do it slowly,ok?

I did not fill my whole nail with design..if you notice, i left 1/3 of my nails bare. But then it's up to you if you want to fill the whole nail with flakes & dots.
*It's advisable to use white acrylic (instead of white polish) if you are not sure about how steady your hand is. You can easily wash the acrylic if you made mistakes. Acrylic can be washed away with water.
There ya go!
Hope you like it. Have a great weekend, girls!

I'll leave the choice of color up to you...These are the tools that i used:
Brush that has a fine tip (this is actually an eye brush ^_~)
- dotting tool or hairpin
- optional - sponge...if you want to have a snowy look..click HERE to know how to do it
- lots of patience!
- Start with clean nails that has a base coat. Opt for a midnight/dark blue..or any dark base of polish...
- We have to make the snowflake, but since i don't have long nails to have big snowflakes so i'll just omit the flicks on the snowflakes...Start with a cross shape like this, make it big,ok?
- Then dipping the brush on white polish*,
- Make a small X shape right at the center of the cross...
- Now, if you have long nails you can put some small flicks at the end of the cross. Since i don't have much space so i'll just leave it like this..it's more of an asterisk than a snowflake..lol
- Next, dip the dotting tool/hairpin on white polish because we will make some random dots...
- Near the snowflakes, like so...
- This is how it would look like afterward
- Optional:
- Top it off with a clear/glittery polish, then a top coat
*It's advisable to use white acrylic (instead of white polish) if you are not sure about how steady your hand is. You can easily wash the acrylic if you made mistakes. Acrylic can be washed away with water.

Weekend Nails: Dotty Blue
This is gonna be another quickie. Sorry if i've been missing on my posts, i just have lots of classes lately that i barely have time for blogging. Though i do try to read everyone's posts as much as i can.
Im gonna go meet a friend tomorrow (or rather later) so of course its time to 'dress' my nails up! I decided tat i would do a blue for this weekend so this is how my nails look like.
Pretty simple?
Well then, let's get it on with the tutorial:
Well, that's it!
This is a nail design that girls with short nails can even sport! It's a fun look. It's simple but bold enough to catch everyone's attention. Make sure you also do this on your toenails.
Hope you'll have a nice weekend!

Well then, let's get it on with the tutorial:
- Apply base coat on clean nails. Then apply the navy blue like so. Leave the other half of your nails bare.
Actually i can just go like this (i prefer simple nail arts, remember?), but since i have a brown stain on my pointer fingernail (look at the arrow) so i decided to cover it up by creating another set of dots....
