Long time no blog!
hahaha!
I told you all before that i have been wanting to go back into beauty blogging but just can't find the...uhhh... interest (for the lack of term) to go back to it. Not that i haven't tried because i have been sitting & staring at my draft religiously waiting for inspiration & the words to come flowing by but to no avail.
*sigh*
I am seriously losing my blogging touch now. So sad..
Anyway, i am taking advantage of the fact that words are flowing in my mind now waiting to be typed so here i am. haha!
I have wanted to do an eye make-up post before but i don't have my weapons anymore. They are quite lacking already & frankly, i just don't want to buy them again because i think i've outgrown my love for it already. I still kept some of them here but they are sitting on my cabinet unloved. Sorry about the ranting.hehehe
Going back, i don't have any mascaras but i still have a liquid liner that i bought last month due to an emergency so i figured, why not maximize it?!
You don't think that's possible?
Well, feast your eyes on this!
That looks plenty nice without the use of mascara!
Click it for a larger image~
You can apply another coat of mascara if you want a va-va-voom look but this is already fine with me. I hate tarantula lashes! lol
The process just takes a while but it's so worth it. Why?
Because you can avoid any clumps as you work on the liner. You can go for spiky lashes if you want or even fully coat each lashes if you're up to it. You can comb your lashes after ever coat to avoid any clumps or if you are in a hurry but if you have the time, you can really do a great job.
This tip is handy especially when you ran out of mascara or if you already reached the end of your mascara life & haven't purchased one yet.
See how curled lashes sort of lifts my eye compared to the other one?
Love the difference!
I have been using liner for quite sometime now & i haven't bought mascaras anymore since i don't wear make-up that much so i think it's just a waste of money for me to buy a product that can only last for 3 months which i might not even be able to use for at least 10 times,no?
Hope that this trick will come in handy for you, ladies!

Landbis Quick Eyeliner Review
Eyelining is step that most girls do not skip. It makes a big difference when you line your eyes. It could change your eye shape! That's why looking for a good eyeliner is quite tricky. I'll be reviewing the eyeliner that i got from KKCenterhk.com.
I've had this eyeliner for a few months already & i have fully tested it & i guess it's an ok product.
Let me give you a swatch first...
I lightly swatched this just once & you'll see how pigmented this is. It's great for dark smokey looks because this one is soft & you can easily smudge it unlike other liners that takes forever in smudging. This one is pliable & you can easily smoke it out by just running a q-tip or angled brush over it for a few times.
Now, i'll point out the things that i like about this....
First, it's an automatic liner which is quite handy because you won't need to sharpen it every other then especially when you're in a hurry.
Admit it, girls, how many times have you've promised yourself that you would sharpen your favorite liner after every use but haven't done so? I used to love my Lancome Crayon Kohl but i always tend to forget sharpening it up until i just lost it! hahaha! So this is a good thing that you would just have to twist it.
Though i have to say, one thing that i like about pencil liner is how hygienic it is. I mean you can easily disinfect pencil liners by dipping it in an alcohol,. let it dry then sharpen it & you got yourself a new, clean, eyeliner once more.
Second, i said before that it's very easy to work with this because it is soft. You can achieve a beautiful smokey liner with just a few strokes. It's very "workable" that it's almost like a kohl.. minus the goopiness...hehe
Kohl liners are amazing but often times they are just too soft so it's hard to apply them. This liner is amazing in that sense. It's firm enough to let you draw a liner yet still soft to allow you to smudge them without rubbing on your lashline heavily.
I'm not a fan of smokey lining so i just applied it as it is here. I carefully worked with it making sure that i do not apply too much pressure just because i have this feeling that the more pressure i apply on my lashline, the more my lashes fall... not good because i have sparse lashes to start with!
One thing that i just don't like about this is that this is not waterproof.
My main requirement for eyeliner is that it ought to be waterproof. What with me being sweaty & oily, only waterproof stuff works! I tried tightlining with this & after an hour, raccoon-eyes alert! eeekkkk!!!!
I guess i can use this really as an eyeliner not something to tightline with but i prefer my liners to be of multi-use. *sigh*
I guess it's hard to look for a liner that could keep up with my preferences, huh?
This could be liked by individuals who doesn't have oily lids to start with & has deep set eyes. Why only those with deep-set eyes? I have a semi-monolid eyes & everytime i blink, the pigment would transfer from my lashline to my lids... Can you just imagine how messy & awful that looks on me?
But i still use this when i would just have to do a quick errand & i don't have the luxury of time to wait for my liquid liner to dry.
As for the price, i'll leave it to you.
I think the price is not bad because this liner is really pigmented. It is sold for $9.51 at KKCenterhk.com. You can check it out HERE.
PROS:

PROS:
- pigmented
- soft & easy to work with
- perfect for dark smokey eyelining
- no need to sharpen
- cute packaging (black with pink dots...how cute is that?)
CONS:
- not waterproof
- not transfer-resistant
- have to use an oil-based remover to get rid of the traces left
- only available online
Will i buy it?
If they will have a waterproof version, i would gladly do so.
What is your favorite eyeliner?
Please share!
Hope you all are having a great day!

Fashion 21 Liquid Eyeliner Review
It's time to let our local products shine once more. This time it is about my favorite liquid liner...
I prefer using liquid liners all because it can give that sharp lined-look especially since i just mostly do a gyaru eyelook. I have never been a gel liner user just because im already satisfied with how liquid liners look. Plus the fact that it is smudge-proof & smear-proof what's not to love about them? I have not tried a lot of liquid liners but i am very much satisfied with what i am currently using right now...
My favorite is Fashion 21 Liquid Eyeliner Waterproof

I'm not sure if there is a non-waterproof version though, but then i have always used this one. I like that this dries fast & that it is indeed waterproof. I have tried the ELF liquid liner & it sucks. I hate that if you accidentally rub it, it would like peel off. What the?! For those who have used the Elf liquid liner, was it just me or is that the same with everybody?
Here is the list of ingredients:

I find it awkward at first since the brush got a long handle. It's much preferable to have a shorter handle. You'll get used to using the handle in time. The bristle is great since it's long & thin & it's great in making thin, fine lines. If you want thin lines, then just use light strokes. I think applying liquid liners take some practice, but once you got the hang for it, im sure you'll love the over-all look that it can give.

Then a swatch...

Then we'll put it to the test. Let's see if it is indeed waterproof!
To make sure, i just dip my hand on the water for a couple of seconds... 30 seconds more like.

Then i rubbed it once...

Rubbed it twice...

Rubbed it thrice...

Of course, it's natural for it to look like that if it's rubbed thrice & dipped in the water for 30 seconds. But then see how it didn't budge when i rubbed it once? Oh, i forgot that i rubbed it hard... not REALLY HARD though. But it's still good to see how it still looks the same even if i rubbed it once.
I'm sure you can see the price at the 1st pic.. it's just P120 ($3 approx).
I like it. The End.
Pros:

Do you use liquid liners?
What's your favorite?
Hope y'all have a great start for your week!

Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner Review
As i've been loving the "no make-up" make-up look on which the main point is to define the eye, a good eyeliner is a must. Since i mostly use liquid liner for the lining the top part of my eye there's no problem with it, but then i have a little trouble looking for a good eye pencil that i can use for tight-lining.
I used to love Lancome's khol eyeliner for it can really give that intense black, but i lost it & i was able to find a good substitute for it which is the Ever Bilena Eyeliner Pencil. The EB eyeliner pencil is also smoldering black & it's great to wear especially if you are going for a dark smokey eye make-up. The only problem that i encounter is that lately,my skin went from oily-to-extremely oily because of the super hot climate that we have here. On which, when i wore eyeliner & it smudges, i mostly end up with a raccoon eye.
When i bought the Revlon Colorstay foundation, i also bought the Colorstay eyeliner since the SA said that it stays really long & won't smudge on you. I let her sales-talked me on which i ended up buying it too. I have been using it for quite sometime so i think it's time that i give a feedback about it.
Revlon® Colorstay™ Eyeliner glides on adding drama and definition to your eyes. Waterproof formula won’t smear, smudge or fade for up to 16 hours. Available in 8 shades.
Won't smear,eh?
hmmmm....
Won't smudge,eh?
hmmmm....
Won't fade,eh?
hmmmm....
It's an automatic pencil & what's great about it is that it got a sharpener at the end so you can sharpen it when you need to. I'm terrible in using it though for i always end up breaking the liner instead of sharpening... but after chopping half of it off from too much clumsiness, i was able to finally sharpen it.
I purchased this mostly because i need a good liner for tightlining & waterlining.
Let's let the pictures do the talking from now...
I tightlined my eye, making it sure that i only apply it at the top since i want to see if it will really stay on. Sorry about the brow..wasn't able to pluck prior to this.
I left my lower lash line bare so to know if it will smudge later on...
Again, i only apply it at the upper waterline. I did not apply any liner at the top, so it's only mascara.
I went out shopping... after 4 hours of grueling torture because of the heat & pollution, this is how it looked like afterward.

So, what do you think?
Did it stay true to its promise?
Let's take a closer look..

Hmmm...
Ok, i'll let you be the judge of that. Tell me what you think about it..did it stand to its claims?
But take into consideration this information before you decide for yourself:
It's just that with automatic liners, it seems harder to disinfect it. Call me OC, but isn't it when we twist it so much & expose it to air, we risk it? So how the hell can we easily clean it? What if you didn't know that it got germs that can lead to eye infection & since we don't know how to fully disinfect it we got some of it on our eyes?
When i disinfect pencil liners, i dip the tip in the alcohol, wait for it to dry then i sharpen it. Then i dip the tip again, wait for it to dry then put the lid on. I'm only this clean freak on my liners since they are the ones that i use near my eyes. It's better to be safe than sorry,ne?
Since i want to hear what you think, i'll skip the usual pros & cons.
Colorstay liners are priced at Php 475 (approx $10) each at leading malls.
Wanna know what i think about it?
Maybe my picture will tell you what i think about it..

Don't forget to tell me what your verdict are, hunnies
Hope y'all have a great weekend!
