Weekend Nails: High Contrast nails

I love contrasting colors.

Aside from the usual black & white, red & yellow is my next favorite combination that's why i always find myself reaching for it every time i try to do some nail arts. & this one is no exception.

I think that yellow & red is a very fun combination. It never fails to cheer me up. I was running out of ideas the time that i did this so this is more of an impromptu design. Anyway, let's start with this.
  • Start with clean nails with a base coat.
  • Apply yellow polish as the base color.
  • Apply red on the 1/3 of the nails, like so.
  • Apply white dots on the edge where the red meets the yellow. This would hide any rough edges that was made when you painted the red polish. Put a small space in between because that is where we will put the black dots.
  • Apply some black dots in between the white for a bold statement.
  • You can finish it off with some rhinestones to soften it up or not. I applied pink rhinestones on the side.
  • Don't forget to top it with a clear polish & finish it off with a top coat.
This is a nice design if you are just wearing a simple basic white tee.

Hope you like this. Will do the leopard print the next time i did a nail tut post.
Have a lovely week ahead,ladies!
