L'oreal Featherlash vs Maybelline Full n' Soft

Mascara Review time again...

The last mascaras that i reviewed were the NYX Doll Eye & Maybelline Unstoppable.
Now its between the Maybelline Full N Soft & Loreal FeatherLash...

Let's go first with the product descriptions...

This is what the FeatherLash claims:

FeatherLash Softly Sweeping Mascara is a perfect marriage of beauty and technology, delivering fluttery, feathery lashes at the stroke of a (patented!) Lash Feathering Brush™. Sophisticated and technically advanced mascara with exclusive Glycerin and Vitamin E formula softens and nourishes lashes. Draw attention to your eyes in a soft, utterly feminine way.

Now for the Maybelline Full N Soft:

Why You'll Love It

This mascara builds full, soft thick lashes without the brittle feel.

Now let's take a look at the wands...

The Full N Soft looks just like any ordinary wand where the bristles are 'scattered' to ensure that every strand would be coated with the product...

By the way, the shade that i have is Dark Brown...

On with the FeatherLash

It has a curved brush with the bristles neatly stacked....it just reminds me of any ordinary spoolie...but this one is just curved...

The shade that i have is Black

Now that we have that done with...lets get to the test....I'll share my opinion later & as we go along...I just looked upwards because i think you'll be able to see the difference this way than me looking straight. I have lots of pics of me looking at different angle & this one is the best way to tell...

This is how my lashes look like without any mascara at all..

You can't even see my lashes, huh? XD

As what i said a while ago Full N Soft is brown, while Featherlash is black so if Full N soft looks 'softer' than the other i guess its also because of the color.

So this is how it looks like after the first coat:
During this time i noticed the difference in 'drying' time...Full N Soft doesn't take that long to dry...whereas FatherLash takes a while to dry..Since i was looking up, the moment that i looked down the traces of mascara is very evident on my lid area...
Huh...so much for that fluttery finish... (-_-")

Ok, on with the 2nd coat...

Now you'll be able to see how the Full N Soft actually makes my lashes look thicker & longer...compare it with the pic above..

Then a 3rd coat....

Looking between the featherlash & the full n soft, i have to say that the latter makes my lashes look fuller...

Ok, on with my personal opinion...

Featherlash's formula is 'watery' & thin, actually when i applied it, i have to scrape the product off of my wand really hard because if i don't, the product just gets all clumpy & settles on my lashline. Since it dries slow, it just goops up on the bottom of my lashes making my lashes stick together making them heavy...

You can't put too much because it will just weigh your lashes down...see this?Full N Soft at least was able to hold the curl better that FeatherLash...it just made my eye look droopy because of it...

One of the reason i did not put a pic of me looking straight is that my eyes look so uneven with featherlash because it just made my lashes heavy from the formula...& it dries a long time..i feel like i have to put my face in front of the fan just to dry it out... (-_-")

Full N Soft on the other hand is more waxy & lighter compare to featherlash. The wand makes application a lot easier because it separates each lashes & coats them individually unlike the featherlash where it just forms into spikes. One thing more that i would prefer this instead of featherlash is that i don't need to scrape the product as much i need to with the other one...so it saves me time...Plus it dries quickly...

Do they flake? Or smudge?Does it stay for hours?
As for the flaking part....im happy to say that both didn't flake...yay for that!

For the smudging, featherlash would smudge if you weren't able to dry it completely before going out...But it stays that way after it dries..(which takes forever!!!!)
Full N Soft flakes a little, but not something that is very alarming...

As for their staying power, it will stay on your lashes provided that you don't cry or wipe your eyes accidentally...
Remember, they are not waterproof, so it won't really 'stay' unlike how waterproof mascaras do..

So i'll leave the rest to you, which do you think makes my puny lashes look longer?

I looked at the pictures again and again... I don't want to disappoint you but I don't see that much of a difference. I guess I can if I look at it for awhile... it looks a bit fuller than your eyelashes with no mascara.
