Guest Post:Nivea Visage Sparkling White Acne Oil Control Whitening Cleansing Foam Review

Our second guest post came from a very dear friend, Spr Rai. I'm so happy that i was able to meet him because of my blog. We always talk about skincare & we even tried a new regimen together to see if it would deliver the said promise. hahaha. Now here is one product that he swore worked for him almost miraculously! Let's get to know what it is.
It's the Nivea Visage Sparkling White Acne Oil Control Cleansing Foam.

I really like the Sparkling White line of Nivea Visage, especially their facial foams. I probably think that this is by far my favorite among them. I have oily, acne prone skin so it really suits my skin.

Not only does it remove and control oiliness, it does other actions for fairer skin as well:

Cleans into pores to remove dirt & 90% of oil
Acne Reduction Technology helps prevent acne
Skin Nutrient Formula helps lighten dark spots & blemishes
Minimizes appearance of pores
Smoothens skin without dry feeling

NIVEA VISAGE Sparkling White Acne Oil Control contains 2x smaller molecule of:
Acne Reduction Technology that cleans deeper into pores by effectively lifting dirt and oil which is the cause of acne
Skin Nutrient Formula that helps lighten acne marks and dark spots.

Whenever I use this to wash my face, it instantly removes the excess oil. I like how my face feels squeaky clean. I don't get any irritation nor do I get breakouts from it (I experience this when I use some other brands). And it really does somehow lighten my dark spots (I have a lot of them).

I'm so happy with this product. I will certainly buy again. It's very affordable at Php125.00 for the 100g and Php75.00 the 50g. And it's available at all Watsons stores too.

You can add/drop him a message on his Facebook. Click HERE to go to his page.

salamat to salamat.ph + korean & japanese food!

The best things in life are free...so as what the saying goes.
It's great that there is a company that actually believes in that & really gives out some of the best things in life for free! I'm talking about Salamat.ph.

I went to Makati yesterday because i have to drop by at Salamat.ph's office to claim the GCs that i was able to grab  from their site. For those who have been asking me if their site is real, yes it is! Most discount/group buying websites will require you to pay in credit cards or paypal. How about for those who doesn't have any? Well, fret no more, Salamat.ph wouldn't require you to any of it since you just need to download the coupon for free then present it to the merchant! How easy is that?!

Yes, it's true!
You can check it out HERE.

Here are my GCs that i got from their website.

Their office is located at the 6th floor of Multinational Bancorporation Center along Ayala Avenue in Makati.

Here are their gorgeous ladies, April & Mylene (i hope i remember that right!), who accommodated me. They are very friendly! Thanks, ladies!

Salamat, salamat.ph!
I'll be bringing my mom when i drop by at Skin Metro to avail of their services. Yipee!
Guys, do check out their site Salamat.ph because they offer great deals. Make sure you also take a quick look at their community board to find out the latest promos happening.

I'm not affiliated with the company, i'm just sharing my experience as a user.

Then, i decided to drop by at Choto Stop to buy some japanese foods. I just decided to walk from Ayala to their store..yes, i was able to make it through. haha!

I first passed by Teppen to buy a couple of Gim (Korean Seaweed Laver) because i prefer it over Nori.

I'm actually bad at directions, but since i was just walking i thought that i won't get lost...luckily, i was able to reach my destination..haha!

I was just planning on getting some furikake since i want to make some onigiris. I bought that onigiri/kimbap wrapper because i remember watching it at Aeris' video before, so furikake to make my onigiri better is what i need. But when i browse around the store, i found out that they do have Maxim Strawberry Latte!

Cho Ureshii~!
I have been craving for this & i have been seriously checking out NapaJapan.com even though i have put myself on an online shopping ban. The urge to drink it again is so overwhelming. I wanna scream when i found that they have a lot of boxes!

I died & went to Maxim Latte heaven! My original plan of buying 3 furikakes, enokitake, & dashi powder all vanished just because i saw pink in my eyes!
La la la la la~!

I also saw one Matcha pudding hidden in their freezer & i immediately grabbed it!
OMG!
I can't believe that i am lucky!
I asked if they do have Maxim Matcha Latte but they said that they are out of stock but they do carry it. I have to really drop by every now & then.

For those wondering how much it is. Most items in Choto Stop are sold for Php80 each... except their instant noodles which are Php50 each.

Yay!
I'm so happy i could fly!

Then when i got home, a package greeted me & when i opened it, i saw a cute purple box full of Nivea goodies!

What a way to end my day!
Yay!

I love Nivea products!
I have tried their eye cream & it does work! Take a look at my post to see the difference.

Did you all know that Kate Middleton actually uses Nivea Cream?
Yes, it's true.
You can read it HERE.

No wonder she looks amazing! I tell you, Nivea products are amazing!

I'll do a review for their creams most probably next year. I am using collagen as my night cream & i can't stop it yet. You'll only see the effects of topical collagen products with at least 6 months of using it, as what i read on an article before.

I usually hate thursday, but this time, it's an exception.
I'm so happy yesterday!
Shiawase~!
^_^

I'll be making a pin-up look today, if i could do it because of my busy schedule so just wait for it,ok?

Hope that you'll have a nice friday,hunnies!

Nivea Visage Sparkling White UV Blocker Review

I have a problematic skin...
For those who have been following my blog, you know how i battle with acne & how some products break me out. Looking for products that will work on me is a very trying job because it's really a hit or miss.

I try to avoid whitening products but since i have bad blemishes due to my acne, i have to find a way to even out my skin tone. *sigh*

Acne, tantanan mo na ko! (Acne, please leave me alone!) I am already 26 but i still break out every now & then.

I have been using this ever since my skin changed from oily to combination/oily. At first i'm hesitant to do so because that was the time when i stopped using anything on my face. I fear that it would make me break out or anything, but i'm glad i took the step because my skin agrees with this!

I'm sure you have already seen this in the department stores but you might be wondering what is the difference of this as opposed to tons of products that promises to whiten, hydrate & protect the skin. So what made me give this product a try? It's mainly because of hyaluronic acid!

I'll tell you what is hyaluronic acid later, for now, you can take a look at the description at the back...

This is what the product is claiming...

What does it do?
1.      Whitening from inside and outside
White Crystallites naturally reflecting micro pigments Inner Whitening:
White Pure Actives which regulate melanin production to support the skin’s lightening process and reduce appearance of dark spots
Soy Extract supports repair and renewal process for fairer complexion

2.      Boosts skin hydration: contains Hyaluronic Acid which instantly boosts skin’s moisture promoting a smoother, translucent yet oil-free appearance
What is Hyaluronic Acid?
Molecules found in the connective tissue of the skin and plays an important role in maintaining volume.   With their moisture binding capacity, they plump up the skin from the inside out and make it appear smooth.
3.      Protection against sun damage and redarkening
§         advanced SPF30 PA++ UVA and UVB filter system protects  your skin against the appearance of dark spots due to sun exposure.

Sounds good,huh?

For the product itself...

An opaque bottle...
not really that good because you won't know how much product is still left. You only get to know how much only by weight. I wish it has a little clear part at the side so that i would know when is the time to buy for a new one.

Oh well, i can easy over look that since it's in an airless pump bottle that makes dispensing the product easy. It's nice if all skincare products are in a pump bottle because it's hygienic... plus the fact that this is airless so it would make the product last longer!

It's just like your usual moisturizer that is in a white fluid form... quite runny! But one pump already goes a long way! You can really feel the hydration that this product provides!

Since we are already talking about its texture, let's get to know the benefits that this product is offering. As what i said, it has Hyaluronic Acid.

Our skin produces hyaluronic acid which keeps skin moisturized & firm. Like a sponge, it attracts & binds water within the cells of the skin to reveal a supple & firm skin!

As we age, HA production lessens & our skin becomes dehydrated. As we age, the body begins to produce less HA while the environment impact of radiation, chemicals, poor nutrition continues to take its toll.

Benefits of Hyaluronic Acid:

  • Since it is a natural substance found in skin, it is easily accepted by your skin.
  • Though gentle, it is very effective in hydration –it can absorb approximately 1,000 times its own weight inside the extracellular spaces within the matrix of the skin!
  • Plumps skin and enhances the volume to create that same firm yet soft & supple skin
  • Maintains collagen and elastin levels
  • Contains a low molecular weight to penetrate and be absorbed by the skin faster!

It's packed with all those good things for you skin, but maybe what you're thinking is that this would be heavy since it has SPF. We know how uncomfy most sunblocks are. They're heavy & sticky! But what i like about this is that this is really light on the skin! It's oil-free & water-based!

It will feel a bit "oily" at first so you have to wait for a couple of minutes for your skin to absorb it. You can see how it looks with it on. It's not really oily, i guess dewy is a better term to describe it.

It has a mild "sweet" scent. I guess that it is Nivea's signature scent, if there is such a thing because i think this is something that i have smelled at lots of times. Since i have been a Nivea user, i guess i got so familiar with it already.

I have been using this for months & i'm happy to announce that i have not experienced a bad reaction to this product. Yay! A product that my skin loves!

Honestly, i'm not sure about the skin lightening because i am using my favorite Orange Peel & L Glutathione soap together with this.

I always keep this in my bag because it has SPF 30 PA++ so this is really something that my skin needs specially when i go out!

With all the good things that you are getting from this, paying Php400 is definitely worth it!

Let's summarize it...
PROS:

  • doesn't feel heavy
  • has SPF30 PA++
  • comes in a hygienic packaging
  • locally available
  • quite affordable
  • can be used by different skin types
CONS:
  • you won't know how much product is left

Will i buy it?
Yes! I will!
This is something that i have recommended to my friends already!

If you are looking for a light moisturizer that is not heavy on the budget, please take a look at this. This is something that i have tried & tested. It earns my seal of approval!

I am so loving Nivea products!
I have repurchased a couple of products because they are really worth keeping!

Hope you all are enjoying the week so far!
Have a great day, ladies!

Nivea Giveaway Winners

I'm sorry it took me a long time announcing the winners. I just got so busy with everything since it's the end of the month & i had to do class records.

Anyway, thank you to everyone who had joined the contest. I'm so overwhelmed with the answers that you have given. If i can just give everyone of you a giftpack, i will!haha.. but im too poor to do so.

Let's not delay it any longer....

1st winner (from the facebook discussion) is Alen Banez-Gallano
(sorry, sweetie. i don't know how to type the "enye" e)

What I usually do to make myself healthy is that I avoid eating junk foods (this is really hard for me to do because I love eating chips but I try anyway) and do some light exercise since I cant exercise when my baby is awake. i google home exercises on youtube and I find that alloting even 10 minutes of my time doing simple exercises makes a lot of difference. I also try eliminating salt on my diet. For starters, the food definitely tastes bland but after a week, you will get used to it and wont be bothered by the bland taste anymore. I substitute pepper, cinnamon, paprika, to salt. I also try getting a good 8 hours sleep. I tried using organic products on my skin before but weird as it may sound, they dont suit me. I breakout whenever I try using them (I only tried using human heart nature though) so I just use mineral make ups as much as possible (again, I break out everytime I use mineral makeups so I use them once a week only). I also run if I have the time but mostly I play with my daughter (I'm a stay at home mom so its almost nonstop playing/workout)

Junk Foods...
We know how bad it is, but we can't just seem to avoid it,right?
Kudos to you, sweetie for making it a priority to avoid it!

I am really trying to eliminate salt in my food also. I'm actually quite used to bland foods na, but it's hard especially when you eat out. It's a great idea to substitute salt with natural flavor enhancers! I like the italian spices on the bottle. We actually have oregano growing in our backyard & i do try to buy herbs & spices when i go grocery shopping. I love cilantro!!!

2nd winner (by emailing the answer) is Annie

Living a natural life is a choice. I choose to live a natural life by:
1. eating vegetables every meal time. i can't eat a meal without any vegetables at all!
2. taking 15 minute breaks everytime i'm stressed. i have a little post-it note on my table that says "stop & smell the flowers"
3. exercise regularly. i do brisk-walking as much as i can
4. ban fast food restos. good bye mc donalds!
5. no to msg. salt & pepper is already fine
6. keep a positive attitude. if you are happy, it will show.
7. always smile. when things are getting tough, all the more reason to smile. it just means that you are being tested & once it's done you are a new person already!
8. buy natural, organic & homegrown products. i try to support pinoy products as much as possible.

I also can't eat a meal without any veggies. I always ask my mom "wala tayong gulay?" everytime i can't see any colors on my plate.

Artificial flavorings has long been a part of our life & i think it's almost impossible to find a resto that doesn't put MSG on their dish. So yes to home cooked meals!

Homegrown products,eh?
Why not?!
It would be fresh & i guess healthy too. I have read tons of news all over the world about veggies being contaminated with lots of pesticides. I haven't heard of anything like there happening here,ne?

3nd winner (by commenting on my blog post) is Ai Chusyu
Here are the ways I keep myself in check:

Living Healthy and Active!
Sedentary life is killing me and making me lose my active, happy, cheery outlook in life and that's why me and the boyfriend are hitting the gym 3x a week and religiously at that! He never lets me skip a day.

Supplementing and Vitamining! :)
We are taking 1000mg vitamin c everyday and another tablet of multivitamins as well too. It keeps us totally uplifted once we start our day. I ensure we never forget, since he always does.

Keeping Away from Parabens
I am so into skin care and I have a lot of products for my face. I have a tendency lean towards natural lines and organic brands so that's a plus. But I know that Parabens are not always all evil. In fact, parabens are the ones that ensure that our prettifying products don't go stale just a couple of days after opening, because that would totally suck on my budget.

Eating well
Oatz oatz oatz! A great boost in the morning! This is my favorite breakfast of all time because it has kept me in shape and made me feel full. I especially love oats with cocoa powder or natural peanut butter coupled with fresh fruits like apples and banana. Natural all the way!
There are lots of great answers that was posted on my blog entry but i choose this answer because she gave specific tips on how she does it.

Cheers to your bf for making sure that you are in shape, & what's more, doing it together with him! Wow!

I know about the parabens...
I try to stay away from it as much as i can, but as what you said, it's an important ingredients in cosmetics.

Eating oats is really a great boost in the morning, packed with loads of fiber that could help in detoxifying the body. Partner it with fresh fruits & it's sure to give you a good wallop to jump start your day!

It was so hard to choose the winners because everyone gave great answers!
Don't worry, i'll be having more giveaways in the future.

Winners, please email me with your shipping details within 48 hrs, failure to do so i will be choosing a new winner. Make sure you email me,ok? (thiamere@kuririnmail.com)

Hope that the the start of your week is good!

I heart you Nivea Hydrating Lotion!

I hope you still remember the mystery lotion that i posted 3 weeks ago i think...
Now it's time to unveil it....

The new Nivea Express Hydration Lotion!

I tell you, this stuff really works!
Remember my Before & After picture of using this?
No?....

Let me show it again...

You can read the story about my poor battered feet in that post.
Now you can understand why i feel the need to blog about this. This is worth blogging about!

Nivea said that:
The new ultra-light body lotion with sea minerals contains the innovative Hydra IQ active ingredient that has been developed specifically for the needs of normal to dry skin. It keeps the skin soft and supple, envelops it in the subtle scent of blue lotus and leaves a refreshed feeling.

The one-of-a-kind formula with Hydra IQ makes body care a long-lasting intense experience. It provides a non-stop supply of moisture to the skin – longer than ever before. This is based on the worldwide exclusive Nobel Prize technology, which promotes optimum moisture supply and distribution from within – for over 24 hours.  NIVEA Express Hydration Body Lotion is not only effective for an extra-long time, but is also absorbed by the skin extraordinarily quickly and thus helps repair the eight signs of dry skin: dry, redness, rough, tight, flaky, dull, itchy and peeling.

NIVEA Express Hydration Body Lotion has been developed with dermatologists and skin compatibility is clinically and dermatologically proven.

I like this product so much that i am also putting this on my "products-to-buy-again-&-again" list!
If you have dry skin or is always in an air-conditioned room, then this is a pretty good lotion to tote along in your bag to replenish the lost moisture in just mere minutes!

Hope you all will have a good week!

Nivea Pure & Natural Product Line

I had received some packages a couple of weeks from Nivea & had been testing them ever since i got them. I'll be making a review on them after a couple more weeks of trying but for now, i'll go first with their Pure & Natural Line.

NIVEA Pure & Natural products use gentle and pure ingredients that respect your skin’s nature so you don’t have to worry about sensitivity problems and irritations that are known to be associated with some artificial and chemical ingredients.

The range is suitable for all skin types even to extra sensitive skin.

What does it do?

NIVEA Pure & Natural products are inspired by nature, but they also draw on our 100 years of skin care expertise and commitment to the highest quality standards.
This means the NIVEA Pure & Natural range offers a pleasant and affordable way of looking after yourself naturally and doing your bit for the environment, while enjoying the highly effective care you’ve come to expect from NIVEA.
It's good that NIVEA has this line. I am actually loving this line, especially the deodorant. Why?

It doesn't have aluminum salts!
I have a very sensitive underarm.
A lot of girls swear that aluminum salts make their underarm lighter but in my case it's the opposite. It makes my underarm itchy & red. It darkens my armpit & doesn't even control body odors. What the fudge?!

I used to use pure aluminum salt before when i was a teenager but with all the hype of using deodorant & body sprays i was lured into using those chemical-laden deodorant. While it does a wonderful job of controlling body odors, it makes my underarms dark. Eeekkkk!!! I can't believe i'm telling you that i had dark underarms. But take note, the word is HAD for now my underarm is waaaayyyyy lighter than before. Not that you'll see me showing my underarm off for everyone to see. LOL!

But this line saved my underarm from further embarrassment! It also doesn't have parabens, how cool is that?!

If you are like me & is allergic to aluminum salt, try this one for this might be the one that you are looking for. I'm not recommending this because i got the product for free but because it works for me.

Next is the Pure & Natural Wipes...

It's good that this is biodegradable.

I think this is the only biodegradable wipes that is available in the market. This is perfect for baby use because it doesn't have parabens, alcohol & perfume-free.

Personally, i don't see any difference about the other wipes out there, aside from it being biodegradable. Even if it is bio-degradable, it doesn't mean that it will decompose as soon as you throw it. It will still take some time before it decomposes too.

It is perfume-free but it doesn't mean that it is scent-less,ok? For some reason i don't like how it smell. It's hard to describe it but i just find it a bit unappealing. But i appreciate that it is almost chemical-free that makes it perfect for those that have sensitive skin specially for babies.

I said that i like this line especially the deodorant.

Do check this line out in the supermarket. It is already available.
^_~

Hope you are enjoying your evening, ladies!

Summer Saver:Nivea Sun Immediate Protection Sunblock

If before, you can still go out of the sun without bothering to put your sunblock on, this time it's different. The sun's rays is so intense that you can literally feel it burning your skin in just a matter of seconds.

Sunblock is summer must-have, no doubt about it!

But then, what if you are on-the-go & doesn't have the time to wait for 20-30 minutes for your sunblock to fully protect you? Now, you don't need to worry about that anymore. Nivea already offers immediate sun protection so you can be on-the-go asap!

This is their facial sunblock.

I have tried this & i'm glad that i didn't experience any break outs though i don't use this regularly because i prefer to use the sunblock gel that i have been using as my main sunblock ever since but if im in a hurry, this is what i'm using.

Body sunblock...

Offers SPF 50 PA++ which is definitely needed this summer.
It's also said to be water-resistant so it's good if you are planning to go swimming.
weeee!!!!!

They also have the After Sun Spray...

It gives a soothing relief after being exposed to the hot sun... doesn't have a cooling sensation though..hehe. Y'all know how addicted i am to cooling sensation.hehehe

I went to Watsons yesterday to take a look at the price..but stupid me, forgot to write it down on my notes. Anyway, the price range of these would be somewhere in Php 250-450, depending on the quantity/bottle.

I think it's not expensive considering that you will be getting a high SPF plus it is readily absorbed by the skin to give immediate protection. It's definitely worth your money!

I might do a review on this sometime but for now i like it. No other sunblock in the market (that i know of) offers immediate sun protection so this is definitely a keeper!

Do check this out especially now that the heat is unbearable!

Hope you all have a great, hunnies!

Nivea Anti-wrinkle Q10+ eye cream Review

I did not do a review on the first eye cream that i tried because i feel that it doesn't have any effect at all. So this time im doing an all-out review on this product, so there would be lots of pics & lots of blah-blahs too.

Nivea Visage Anti-Wrinkle Q10+ Eye Cream
I have been using this for more than a month now & i know that im way delayed for the review.
So, let's start with this.

As what i said before, im more concerned about the fine lines on my under-eye area rather than eyebags. I tried the Nivea whitening (or lightening, i cant remember it) eye cream first because i thought that it will also work with the lines, which of course, didn't. So i went for the anti-aging cream knowing that this would of course address my need.
I'll just save myself from typing the description on the back carton. Just click it.

Works instantly,huh?
It's said to reduce fine lines within hours. Let's see if it's true!

The packaging is good because its in a tube. It's hygienic.
I'd choose this over Garnier Eye Roll-on in a heartbeat when it comes to packaging. It's also fragrance-free so its a plus for me! yay!

Now these are the ingredients:
Wanna see how it looks like?

It's white & creamy.
When you spread it, it will leave you with a whitish mark, though its not that obvious. See what i mean?

Now that we are done with the product description, its time for my opinion. But before anything else, ill show you my before pic:

This was taken 40 days ago... (i look like im problematic,huh?..its just that i was outside & my eyes have not adjusted yet)

Now for this picture, this was taken the same day, but just after application of it. I suggest that you actually click it to see if there is an effect.

I religiously apply this every night, though there might be sometime where i missed it,but just once or twice. I apply this in the morning & in the evening. On the whole duration, i was observing if im gonna developed some syringomas or an allergic reaction...thank god for i did not have any bad effects. I got wary from using eye creams ever since i read Elsa's review on L'oreal Revitalift, just read it here if you want to know.

As what i said before, it does leave a whitish mark when you apply it, but its ok with me since i just stay at home. The only thing that i can't bear with this is the fact that whenever i use this & it accidentally get inside my eye, it will leave me with a burning sensation. Take note, not stinging, but burning!

Is it just the Q10+?
Whatever it is, it sure is painful.

I have to stop what im doing & close my eyes for at least a minute before the burning sensation goes away. Then i will open up with a red eye, but it will be gone in mere minutes. For something that is "opthalmologically approved", i just quoted this straight from the box, this sure doesn't feel eye-friendly...

But aside from that, i like using this product. I actually think that it does work! Did you take a closer look at the 2 pics at the top? Right after i apply it, i think the lines were actually diminished! Go ahead! Click it!

Did you see?

Ok, enough with that, ill just show you the 'after 40 days' pic: (the pic is different because i used a different camera this time)

Hmmm....Why does it look like its just the same?

Since i love everybody & i am willing to go the extra mile for ya, so you can just take a look at this: (i just did the left eye)You'll be able to compare the effect of the product with this side by side pics. hehe. XD
sorry about the typo (-__-")

Ok, going over the pic, you'll notice that there is a difference if you take a closer look at the lines. The line on the before pic is somewhat obvious, but the after pic is already less obvious. It does reduce fine lines within hours! Click the pic to see it further.. XD

During the time that i was using, i was not actually taking care of myself. I mean, i don't sleep early, i sleep at 3am. Still the usual stuff, like i keep on rubbing my eyes...its a bad habit of mine (-__-"). So im pretty sure that this product would work better for those who are really doing the things that should be done.

Im sure you'll see bigger improvements if you do it the right way, though in my case i didn't.hehe. Im actually impressed that it was able to diminish the line, even if i changed my sleeping time. If im taking extra care of myself, im pretty sure that i'll see greater results. It only means that this product actually works!

So to summarize everything...
Pros:
  • cheap
  • available everywhere
  • hygienic
  • fragrance-free
  • it does work
Cons:
  • it burns the hell out of my eyes every time i accidentally get it inside
  • will leave a whitish mark
Maybe ill buy this again, but since i still have a full tube to use so i don't see myself buying it anytime soon. Ill also do another review as soon as im done with it. Just be careful in using this..make sure you don't put it near your eye...

Hope you find this post helpful!

Weekend haul + Nivea Lip care short review

This would be my last haul for the meantime...I knew that i've been hauling & hauling for the past few days... For my last haul i decided to buy a hair dye..I just bought Kolours (because they have a freebie!a bottle of hot oil conditioner) with the shade Medium brown...

I dunno if i have made a post about it, but my hair is raven black..that's why its a pain when i have white hairs showing...makes me look like an 'oba-san' (gramma). So i just decided to dye my hair just so that the white hairs won't be very obvious.

Of course the Kojie-san kojic soap...im definitely gonna review this but not yet because i would like to 'show' you the results...So i have to wait for its effect on me. I like to review about products by pictures as much as possible. Plus how can i resist the discount? Im sucker for discounts & sales...hehe

Then i threw in a polish remover & a couple of toiletries...

On to the Nivea Lip Care Review

This is one of my favorite lippies..

I don't use lip products that much..but instead for everyday i use lip balms. this has been my favorite ever since i was in college...but ever since i got the Ellana lip p0t i haven't used this..but when i saw this yesterday i knew that i just have to buy it.

Did you see the "8 hours moisturization" (is 'moisturization' a word?hehe) thing on top? How cool! 8 hours, huh?
It has UV protection, though not an SPF..i think i rather like something that got SPF on it...oh well...i still like this..

This is the back carton..you can just click it if you wanna read...

With just a mere Php 80 or $1.25 (approx) you'll get this much product.

Not too bad...aside from the yummy smell it will give your lips a nice tint to it. Not pigmented, but better than an ordinary colorless balms out there, right?

During the time that i was using this, i think it would even last for months because it lasts a long time..not the color, but the 'moisture'...Especially now that they formulated it again...

This would now be a staple in my bag...that's for sure!

Im pretty sure most of you have tried using this, right?
Did you like it?

Thoughts on Nivea Whitening Eye Cream + rants

I popped by the Post Office today to send a love package for a friend...On the way home i just decided to buy an eye cream again because when i woke up this morning & saw my undereye, i was horrified by the lines that keeps on waving at me.....gaahhhh!!!!

Im just 24...soon to be 25...but my undereye area already had spider-like lines underneath. If you girls, remember, i bought Nivea Whitening Eye Cream months ago..the reason that i did not post a review on it is that it didn't do a fig on my undereye problems...in short -> NO EFFECT AT ALL

Well, considering that it's not an anti-aging..just a 'skin lightening'....but then it still didn't do anything at all..So, if you are planning to buy it, don't waste your money...It didn't even lighten my undereye area..i feel that it's almost worse than when i first used it...but im sure Nivea didn't worsen it..it just didn't work on me.

Just buy anti-aging creams instead...& that's what i bought today...

This time i bought the anti-aging...if this would fail me, then im definitely gonna be buying Olay the next time. This time, im not skipping a review on this...im crossing my fingers for this one..

I also saw a foot pad & decided to also buy one to pamper my most abused part...my feet...
It says "ALOMA"...its in japanese though so i won't be able to read it. I wanted the lavender scent but there's nothing left...too bad..i'd rather buy this instead of the ginseng ones....yukk!

Next week, i'll not go out of our house anymore...whenever i go out i tend to buy something. And since the start of this week...actually since last saturday i've been going out almost everyday & i've been hauling & hauling again....I just didn't post pics of some of it, but i think im going back to my bad addiction again...T_T

If i have to tie myself on my bed, i will...just so that my cards would be safe from always being swiped on the credit card reader.. (-_-") so much for wanting to save to buy a laptop... *sigh*

I'm dying to try the ELF Studio concealer palette, but it's already out of stock in Toma's shop...if i buy it here in the Philippines, the price is double...I guess i just have to wait & see...

Tomorrow i might be posting a contest entry...that is if i finish experimenting & finding the right colors on my contest entry...

Nivea Visage Sparkling White Day Care Short Review

After a month of using it, it's time to do a review of it.

I've been faithfully using this everyday after i wash my face....Im not after whitening my face since it's a bit hard to match my arms with my face...It's always my arms that is tanner compare with the rest of my body so i don't wanna look weird with a white face then tan arms...

I wouldn't be able to post result pics for i wasn't able to take pics before i started using it (-_-")
Anyway, i don't think there is much difference anyway...Which just means that i did not have a positive result with it.

Let's start first with its texture...

Its white & not very heavy, which makes spreading it evenly easier compare to other heavy creams. You won't need to use heavy hand in spreading it plus it's so light that it is easily absorbed by the skin.
What i don't like about it is that it has a smell..

It doesn't smell bad..in fact it smell good, but i prefer face creams that is fragrance free or either one that has a light scent. It smells somewhat sweet & flowery. The first time that i used it, it made me wrinkle my nose for i think it's a bit overpowering. I just got used to the smell with my continued use of it.

The ingredients?
Just take a look at this pic
You can even see the label that i put, i started it June 8...

What can i say?
I think it did lighten my skin a bit, but then lately, i've been going out of the house in the middle of the afternoon so i don't see any radical effect when it comes to whitening....

As for the Oil Control...i think the Clean & Clear Moisturizer is better at controlling oil. For after an hour, i have to use an oil film to take away the shine...

Pros:
  • cheap
  • feels light
  • available everywhere
  • has UVB/UVA protection
Cons:
  • has that sweet flowery scent
  • doesn't control oil that much

As what i said before, i bought this not because i want to whiten my skin but because i need a product that would control my oiliness & this product did a poor job in controlling it.

Now im thinking of trying out anti-aging products instead. Maybe i'll try Nivea's Anti Aging products first.. XP

Hope you girls will have a great weekend!
^_^

Believe in B.liv's Dump Off Drawn! I do!

I was contacted by B.liv weeks ago to try out their products. I have been so lazy in applying any skin care products lately that I can alrea...
